ZCZC.Officer Commanding The Officer Commanding (OC) is the commander of a sub-unit or minor unit (smaller than battalion size) in widespread military usage.
Normally an Officer Commanding is a company, squadron or battery commander (typically a Major). Sports Wing, Army Public School of Physical Training Kakul Abbottabad Lieutenant Colonel Chohdri Mohsin Ali recommended the students during a test conducted at Quetta Cantt. It merits mentioning here that on the special directive of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kyani, after the successful completion of two phases, the third phase of sports scheme has been started and selection of the students is being carried out across the country. Students between 12-14 years of age who have passed the 6th, 7th and 8th classes respectively were eligible to apply under the scheme. Under the sports scheme Rs 3000 in term of scholarship would be paid to the under trainees, free medical facilities, travel concession, opportunities for playing abroad are the other facilities being offered. In case of winning trophies and distinction in sports on international level, the sports man would be honoured with cash prizes and allotment of land.
