Youth choirs will kick off the Bach Festival.Byline: The Register-Guard The Sanctus section of Hungarian composer Gyorgy Orban's new Mass No. 6 will be performed by the six choirs of the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival during the Oregon Bach Festival's opening ceremonies on Friday. The ceremonies, free and open to the public, begin at 6 p.m. in the Hult Center lobby. The combined choirs of the children's festival, known as PICCFEST, will be led by guest conductor Rebecca Rottsolk of Seattle.
