Distinct racial tension was noted between blacks and whites, particularly on issues affecting economic self-interest. For example, 10% of white youth view whites as victims of discrimination, while 46% of blacks see themselves as victims. Unsurprisingly, 65% of whites oppose affirmative-action initiatives toward minorities, while 60% of blacks favor such efforts.
