Young Presidents' Organization Grows Strategic Alliances Program to Further Provide Exclusive Benefits to Its Members

DALLAS -- Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), the premier international network of young business leaders, today announced the appointment of Jeff Benton as director of Strategic Alliances. Benton will lead YPO's Strategic Alliances division and cultivate relationships with the world's leading brands to provide YPO's 11,000+ members with exclusive benefits and opportunities.

"The Young Presidents' Organization plays an important role in the development and growth of young business leaders around the world," said J. David Martin, chief executive officer, YPO. "With Jeff's expertise in developing corporate alliances, YPO will further expand its ability to provide members with one-of-a-kind opportunities and unparalleled access to unique services."

Before joining YPO, Benton was the director of business development and strategic alliances for Exclusive Resorts where he was responsible for the global sports and entertainment division. In this role, Benton formed relationships with leading sports brands and associations including the NFL Players Association, the U.S. Polo Association and the Sports Lawyers Association.

Benton was also the director of corporate partnerships for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) during the creation and development of the U.S. Open Series. Prior to the USTA, Benton worked as the national sales director for the PGA Tour where he developed and implemented corporate marketing partnerships including the successful Premier Partnership Program.

"My new role presents an amazing opportunity to build world-class alliances that will enhance YPO's offerings to its membership, and give premier brands the ability to ally with an organization comprised of the world's leading chief executives," said Benton.
