Yokohama Rubber to Establish New Company to Supervise All Operations in China.Tokyo, Japan, Nov 10, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Yokohama Rubber (YRC YRC Yellow Roadway Corporation YRC York Railway Company YRC Yokohama Rubber Company, Ltd. ) announced today that it will establish a holding company in Shanghai in December. To be capitalized at $30 million, Yokohama Rubber (China) Co., Ltd. will be responsible for supervising YRC's all operations in China. YRC presently runs three companies in China, Hangzhou Yokohama Tire, Yokohama HAMATITE (Hangzhou), and Yokohama Hoses & Coupling (Hangzhou), which are engaged in production and sales in China. YRC also plans to establish two new joint venture companies, one for producing and selling conveyor belts conveyor belt One of various devices that provide mechanized movement of material, as in a factory. Conveyor belts are used in industrial applications and also on large farms, in warehousing and freight-handling, and in movement of raw materials. and the other for selling tires, in the first half of 2006. In line with these moves, the new holding company will streamline and increase efficiency in YRC's operations in China.
