Yo Wants to Know

"Red things taste best," says Yo.

"Strawberries and cherries are red."

"Tomatoes, too," says Jennifer.

"Yellow is a sour color," says Yo.

"Lemons are sour and so is grapefruit,"

"Try the pineapple," says Mom.

"Yum!" says Jennifer.

"Sometimes yellow is really sweet."

"I like cucumber," says Yo.

"It's not sweet or sour."

"It has green skin," says Jennifer. "I don't like green things, especially asparagus."

I think you'll like these green things," says Mom.

"Yum. I forgot I like kiwi," says Yo.

"Green grapes are my favorite," says Jennifer.

"Some green things are good," says Yo.

"But red is still the best."
