Yo Wants to Know

"Lips, I made a picture for your birthday," says Yo, "and Jennifer made up a special song. Listen."

"Good dog, good dog, good dog, Lips," sings Jennifer.

"I think it needs music," says Yo. "We can tap with our spoons."

"Your glass sounds higher," says Jennifer.

"Maybe it's because my juice is almost gone," says Yo. "Take a big drink of yours and then try it."

"You're right,' says Jennifer. "It makes a higher sound when some is gone."

"Let's leave Dad's full and I'll drink some of Mom's," says Yo. "That will give us four sounds for the song."

"Good dog, good dog, good dog, Lips, Come and have some birthday sips," sing Yo and Jennifer.

"Aooooo, " sings Lips. "Aooooo."

"Lips likes his song," says Yo. "But what he really wants is his bag of doggy treats."
