Yo Wants to Know

"Hey, Grandma!" says Yo. "Why are you dancing?"

"My sister Mei is finally coming to visit," says Grandma. "She's the Auntie who sent you that red dragon."

''Will she sleep over?" asks Yo.

"She's going to stay for a whole month," says Grandma, "because she'll be traveling all the way from Taiwan. I'll show you on the globe."

"Here's where we live," says Yo.

"And here's Taiwan, on the other side of the world," says Grandma. "Grandpa and I lived in Taiwan, too, until we came to the United States."

"It will take Auntie all day and all night to get here," says Grandma. "She has to fly over the Pacific Ocean, and then over North America."

"After she rests, let's have a party," says Yo.

"Yes," agrees Grandma. "I'll make a special dinner with all her favorite foods."

"Now I feel like dancing, too," says Yo.
