Yet another centenary.The Hilde Holger Centenary Project was launched in October in London by the Austrian Cultural Forum and Holger's daughter, Primavera pri·ma·ve·ra 1 or pri·ma ve·ra n. 1. She was an Austrian-born expressionist ex·pres·sion·ism n. A movement in the arts during the early part of the 20th century that emphasized subjective expression of the artist's inner experiences. ex·pres dancer and a student of Gertrude Bodenweiser in Vienna. She was influenced by Isadora Duncan, the Bauhaus movement, and Freud, who was a family friend. Fleeing Austria after Nazi Germany's annexation of the country in 1939, she spent the World War II years in India, mostly in Bombay, where she founded her School for Art for Modern Movement.
