-0- About UNRAVEL 2000 for Cobol

Ravel's Cobol offering takes a different approach than most existing Cobol Year 2000 remediation tools. The offering is divided into two, separately sold modules: impact assessment and remediation. The low-cost impact assessment tool will report all the details of the code analysis and allow management to decide whether or not to proceed with remediation.

The second module is the compliance editor that allows for quick navigation to, and repair of, all potentially date sensitive parts of the code. The Cobol compliance editor can generate unit test code for debug and audit purposes so analysts have proof of repair.

"At this late stage of preparing for the new millennium, many companies still have not started many of their Cobol projects and need the help of a company with multi-platform/multi-language experience," said Ravel CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Dave Ghosh.

"Companies who have delayed remediating their Cobol code now have a low-cost method of doing a detailed Cobol impact analysis as well as triage triage
