"Domain Time" is a Windows NT-based service that keeps all servers and workstations on a network in synch with global time sources via the Internet. The agreement provides for installation of "Domain Time" on Compaq's internal network systems worldwide, including over 45,000 workstations/servers.

"When Compaq went in search of a reliable time solution for the internal enterprise, we turned to 'Domain Time' from Greyware," said Robert E. Decker of Compaq's Platform Technology Group. "It was simple, robust, and priced well for the enterprise. It also resolved issues we had with mobile users."

Unlike time utilities that run stand-alone, "Domain Time" allows administrators to ensure that systems throughout the enterprise are automatically kept in synch with a central time source.
