Yamaha reorganizes: Osawa new pres., U.S. Divisions realigned, Combo Unit to handle portable keyboards.

The Yamaha Corporation (ヤマハ株式会社
 of America in a structure that is designed to better address a shifting competitive landscape in the U.S. Osawa succeeds Yoshi Doi, who will assume new duties as general manager and executive officer of the Domestic Sales & Marketing Division of Yamaha Corporation, Japan. Prior to heading Yamaha Corporation of America, Osawa served as president of Yamaha Electronics Corporation, the arm of the company that produces home theater An audio/video entertainment center that has a large-screen TV and hi-fi system with three speakers in the front (left, right and center) and left and right speakers in the rear. In other personnel shifts and promotions at the division level, Jay Schreiber, who was assistant general manager of the B&O Division, will succeed Rick Young as general manager of that division. Paul Calvin, formerly general manager of the Piano Division, has been promoted to vice president and general manager. Karren The Karren is a mountain in Bregenzerwald, part of the Northern Limestone Alps in Vorarlberg, Austria.
