Yamagata University, Mitsubishi Chemical Undertake Joint R&D for New Automotive Polymer Materials.


Tokyo Tokyo (tō`kēō), city (1990 pop. 8,163,573), capital of Japan and of Tokyo prefecture, E central Honshu, at the head of Tokyo Bay. , Japan, Nov 25, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Mitsubishi Mitsubishi: see zaibatsu.  Chemical announced on November 25 that it has launched a research project on new polymer materials for use in automotive applications in collaboration Working together on a project. See collaborative software.  with Yamagata University. The partners will carry out the project for the next five years.

Specifically, they will proceed with research on the synthesis, modification, compounding and processing of polymer materials.

Yamagata University will organize the activities and set up a head office in its Tokyo satellite office. Mitsubishi Chemical will send researchers to the university and contribute funding to the project.
