) for TCS, has received the YWCA's Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award for her outstanding contribution to TCS and the local community. The TWIN award recognizes women who have made outstanding contributions to their companies and the economic and social growth of the community. Since 1985, over 450 women in Anne Arundel County have been honored. The TWIN honorees of Anne Arundel County represent a wide range of ages, races, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Best brings more than 22 years of management experience to TCS. Her current responsibilities include Research and Development of a new TCS SwiftLink(R) product from concept through engineering, prototyping, and production. Ms. Best is also responsible for personnel management and development; project management, including budget, technical and schedule management; project business growth; and quick response to highly dynamic and diverse customer needs in Communication Systems engineering. Customers demonstrate a high dependence upon her and her organization to deliver highly technical solutions to complex problems.

Her experience prior to TCS includes positions at Intel Corporation (company) Intel Corporation - A US microelectronics manufacturer. They produced the Intel 4004, Intel 8080, Intel 8086, Intel 80186, Intel 80286, Intel 80386, Intel 486 and Pentium microprocessor families as well as many other integrated circuits and personal computer networking  for 10 years in Germany This is a list of years in Germany.
