 YUKON ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Yukon Energy Corporation


(NASDAQ: YUKN) today announced the election of Charles C. Eschweiler, Robert M. Linsmayer and Kent D. Knudson to its board of directors at a special meeting of shareholders.
 The special meeting was originally held on Sept. 22, 1992, but was adjourned for lack of a quorum. The meeting was continued and reconvened on Nov. 12, 1992.
 In addition, Richard E. Lloyd has been named president and chief executive officer of the company and has been appointed as a director. Lloyd has served as the company's chief financial and operating officer. Lloyd's prior experience includes serving as vice president and treasurer of Amdura Corporation (formerly American Hoist & Derrick Company), a vice president with the First National Bank of St. Paul and as assistant treasurer of Gelco Corporation.
 Yukon Energy Corporation develops, manufactures and markets a variety of energy-efficient residential and light commercial furnaces. These furnaces employ advanced heating technology and proprietary features to achieve total home comfort with substantial fuel savings. The company's product lines utilize various patented, advanced technologies; gas and oil-fired furnaces, as well as multi-fuel furnaces which burn wood or coal in combination with oil, gas or electric fuel as standby. Products are sold to heating equipment wholesalers, private labeled-manufactured for large marketing partners, as well as direct to the consumer.
 The company's common stock is traded over-the-counter and quoted on NASDAQ under the symbol YUKN.
