YOUTH SUMMIT STRESSES FUTURE; EVENT BOASTS MINI-OLYMPICS, PUTS EMPHASIS ON PRIDE, DUTY.Byline: Stacy Brown Daily News Staff Writer The key to success is teamwork and Santa Clarita's future rests with the city's young people. That was the message Wednesday at The Master's College History The Master's College was founded as Los Angeles Baptist Theological Seminary on May 25, 1927 to meet the need for a fundamental Baptist school on the West Coast. in Newhall where 300 local high school students gathered for the city's third annual Youth Summit. ``The youth of the city are our highest priority,'' Councilwoman Jo Anne Darcy told the crowd. ``This is our future and it is so important that parents and teens work together.'' Darcy joined other city officials and deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. sheriff's station at the summit, which focused on encouraging students to take pride in themselves, their neighborhoods and working together with their peers and parents.
