YOUR TOP FIVE... SEQUELS.

It's a good week for sequel fans with Final Destination 3, Big Momma's House 2 and The Little Polar Bear 2 out. But sequels don't have to be tired rehashes of a movie that made a few quid at the box office. Sometimes they can be good. Ticket reader SIMON MULLINS of Cheshunt, Herts tells us his five favourites.

1. THE GODFATHER Part 2 (1974)

Maybe the best of the Corleone trilogy. This mafia gangster film is full of good performances, including Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, as they look back on their family life in New York.

2. TERMINATOR 2 : JUDGEMENT DAY (1991)

Arnie returns to Earth from the future to save future resistance leader John Connor. A brilliant visual action adventure with great special effects as the amazing shapeshifting T-1000 robot takes on Arnie and attempts to kill the boy.

3. INDIANA JONES & THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984)

Both a sequel and a prequel to Raiders Of The Lost Ark in one go. Harrison Ford really does pull out all the stops in pursuit of the Sankara stone. It's a rollercoaster ride full of adventure and comic chases - just what you'd expect from Spielberg.

4.THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980)

Just as good as the first of the Star Wars films. More of the same space adventures as the Rebel Alliance flee from Darth Vader. Good special effects in this George Lucas story.

5.DR PHIBES RISES AGAIN (1972)

A real oldie as Vincent Price returns as the immortal Dr Phibes. This time he takes his comic-strip capers to Egypt in search of the elixir of life. A superb cast of British actors ham it up as the victims.
