ISLAND LIFE: When you can't go for a tropical vacation, bring the islands home with palm-tree-print shower curtains and towels. Or sleep in tropical print bedding, dine off wild-animal-print dinnerware or sip tea from romantic soft green tea sets that look like the type used at seaside resorts. It's all in Mervyn's new Oasis-inspired home fashions department with designs by Fieldcrest, Sakura and Mohawk, as well as Shabby Chic Shabby chic is a design style deliberately using worn and deteriorated items. History
The style started in Great Britain and evokes the type of decoration found in large country houses where there are worn and faded old chintz sofas and curtains, old paintwork and
designer Rachel Ashwell. The collection includes rattan rattan (rătăn`), name for a number of plants of the genera Calamus, Daemonorops, and Korthalsia climbing palms of tropical Asia, belonging to the family Palmae (palm family).  and wicker storage boxes and hampers and accessories such as jungle-themed pillows, beaded picture frames, rugs and candleholders. One of the most charming items in the Oasis collection is a wrought-iron plate holder, with a little bird perched on the top, priced at $9.99.

DAYTIME (DESIGN) DRAMA: So, it's Super Bowl Sunday and you're not interested in seeing a bunch of guys A Bunch of Guys (BOGs), or Group of Guys (GOGs) are terms used by counter-terrorism officials to refer to small, self-organizing terrorist cells.[1] BOGs typically have little to no contact with global terrorist groups like al Qaeda, so they independently plan and  charging each other? The HGTV HGTV Home and Garden Television  network has a day of counter-programming called ``Super Sunday The term Super Sunday may refer to the following

PRINCIPLES OF GARDENING: The late British author Beverley Nichols wrote a series of amusing little books back in the '50s and '60s that were part novel, part gardening advice. Although many things he writes about are outdated, the writing style and principles of a great garden haven't changed. In ``Garden Open Today'' (Timber Press; $24.95) Nichols tells readers how to double the size of a garden by cutting it in half (two separate designs means more plants) and that the beauty of a square garden begins with the creation of curves and the beauty of a circular garden begins with the creation of squares or rectangles. Although there are no slick photographs with detailed instructions like those in contemporary how-to books, it's a delight to anyone who's ever dreamed of planting a formal garden but needed some inspiration.
