 Arts Council An arts council is a government or private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts mainly by funding local artists, awarding prizes, and organizing events at home and abroad. , the Oct. 2-3 event gives participants a chance to meet the artists, view their studios and purchase original masterpieces. Among the featured artists is Manders, a Studio City painter whose oil-on-canvas ``All Eyes on Me'' was reproduced and sold to support the U.S. Olympic Team. Her work is also in collections worldwide and is archived by the National Museum of Women in the Arts The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA), located in Washington, D.C. is the only museum solely dedicated to celebrating women’s achievements in the visual, performing, and literary arts.
