, this home was originally commissioned by a real estate developer to attract buyers to the area.

Freeman House

Architects: Frank Lloyd Wright, 1924. R.M. Schindler 1928, 1938, 1953.

This is one of Wright's four textile block houses built in L.A. Later, Schindler gave it a less formal feeling by remodeling remodeling /re·mod·el·ing/ (re-mod´el-ing) reorganization or renovation of an old structure.
