YOUNG SINK HOOPS FOR ELKS.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER - Lancaster Elks Lodge No. 1625 held its annual Elks Free Throw Hoop Shoot competition Dec. 11 at New Vista Middle School for 8- to 13-year-olds. The first-place winners will go on to compete in the Elks Inland District level competition to be held at the Jan. 8 at New Vista Middle School. The winners of the competition were: Boys 8 to 9 - Tyrae Crayton, Quartz quartz, one of the commonest of all rock-forming minerals and one of the most important constituents of the earth's crust.
