), a Germany-based provider of business communication services, are offering Xpherix's Personalized Directory Assistance solutions to their customers.

Personalized directory assistance enables mobile professionals to access the information in their personal address books through an operator from any phone, anywhere in the world or via a Web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. . Traditional directory assistance listings do not contain critical contact information that mobile professionals need during their business day such as mobile phone numbers, direct line numbers, and unlisted numbers.

With Xpherix's Personalized Directory Assistance, subscribers can exchange electronic business cards with each other and when a contact updates his electronic business card, the change is automatically broadcasted to everyone who has chosen to receive it. This unique feature, made possible by Xpherix Dynamic Directory technology, ensures that the information in a subscriber's address book is always current for both the subscriber and the directory assistance operator.

Additionally, directory assistance providers and call centers can now offer premium services based on personal contact information such as call completion and the delivery of fax, SMS (1) (Storage Management System) Software used to routinely back up and archive files. See HSM.
