Xoomsys Attracts World Class Talent to Executive Team; Anthony Luk Joins Xoomsys as VP Engineering; John Yelinek Joins as VP Sales.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Xoomsys Inc., a Silicon Valley company focused on enabling large-scale circuit simulation, today announced that it has attracted world-class talent in two new executives: Anthony Luk, vice president of engineering; and John Yelinek, vice president of worldwide sales.

Mr. Luk, a 20-year veteran in the EDA field, will lead the engineering team and be responsible for developing market-ready circuit simulation solutions based on Xoomsys' breakthrough distributed processing technology. Before joining Xoomsys, Mr. Luk was vice president of engineering at Barcelona Design, a circuit optimization software company, and before that was vice president of the infrastructure technology product line at Cadence Design Systems Inc. (NYSE:CDN) (Nasdaq:CDN). He also held engineering management positions at Cascade Design Automation and Seattle Silicon.

"John has a record of success in getting involved in companies at the start-up phase, developing their sales strategy and channels, and delivering solid business performance," added Mr. Thakar. "We'll be ready to put our product in the hands of major worldwide electronics companies before the end of this year, so it is the perfect time to bring John in to lead the sales effort."

Mr. Yelinek will be responsible for building a worldwide sales team, combining direct sales and distributors; establishing effective sales processes; and developing strong and deep relationships with leading customers. Mr. Yelinek was formerly vice president of worldwide sales at Nassda Corporation, which was recently acquired by Synopsys Inc. (Nasdaq:SNPS). Previously, he was vice president sales for the Epic Technology Group at Synopsys, and he had been vice president domestic sales for Epic Design Technology before its acquisition by Synopsys. He also held sales management positions at ECAD, one of the companies that merged to become Cadence.
