Xenon xenon (zē`nŏn) [Gr.,=strange], gaseous chemical element; symbol Xe; at. no. 54; at. wt. 131.29; m.p. −111.9°C;; b.p. −107.1°C;; density 5.86 grams per liter at STP; valence usually 0. 300-watt light source delivers light output of more than 600,000 lux. This device is designed to supply high-intensity white light to a fiberoptic cable for illumination of a surgical field or other area of examination or operation. The optical pathway has been engineered to manage the light beam so that a greater percentage of the light is transmitted into the fiberoptic cable. The optics are also used to eliminate unwanted ultraviolet An invisible band of radiation at the upper end of the visible light spectrum. With wavelengths from 10 to 400 nm, ultraviolet starts at the end of visible light and ends at the beginning of X-rays. The primary source of ultraviolet light is the sun. and infrared radiation from the visible light beam. The 9300XSP offers easy-to-use features, including a rotary "cardiac float" (CF) turret with increased patient protection against electric shock, and the ability to connect virtually any style cable. Also featured are user-controlled light intensity and an easy-to-read bulb-age meter. Luxtec also offers the 9300XDP XDP Extra Device Port (telephone systems) XDP Extended Data Processing XDP Xml Data Package XDP Xerox Document Print XDP Xml Document Processor Xenon Dual Port light source, a version of the 9300XSP with two CF turrets Turrets can mean or be confused with:
