Xacta to Provide Department of Interior Bureaus and Offices with Certification & Accreditation Solutions.

ASHBURN, Va. -- DOI Awards Telos with Blanket Purchase Agreement for Xacta Certification and Accreditation Solutions

Xacta(R) Corporation today announced that the Department of Interior (DOI) has awarded a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to Telos(R) Corporation, Xacta's parent company, for Xacta's certification and accreditation (C&A) services and solutions. Xacta, a Telos company and a leading supplier of government-validated secure enterprise solutions, will provide DOI with information assurance services and tools. The department expects to spend approximately $2 million dollars over the course of the next three years on C&A activities with the ten companies with which it has established BPAs. Task orders will be individually issued, and only the companies awarded BPAs can compete for the work.

DOI will establish a statement of work (SOW) to assist its bureaus and offices in obtaining IT security assistance. The bureaus and offices will then use the SOW to obtain support to develop and/or update system security plans, risk and vulnerability assessments, IT system contingency plans, security testing evaluations, enterprise configuration management plans, and other tasks.
