XML 2005 Introduces the XML Master Series; Panels Added For XML Authoring, Efficient XML.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- IDEAlliance is introducing the XML Master Class Series - sessions highlighting successful case studies from users and industry experts - at the XML 2005 Conference, to be held November 14-18 in Atlanta. The updated conference line up also includes new panel sessions addressing efficient use of XML and XML authoring.

The Master Class Series focuses on users who have successfully deployed XML technology in document-centric or web services environments. Key topics include security, performance and scalability; application of new standards, tools and technology; compatibility and interoperability issues; and managing and maintaining vocabularies. The first sessions will feature case studies from the Ohio State University Medical Center and The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

"The Master Class Series provides a forum for sharing successful XML implementation experiences," says Beth Micksch of Wolters Kluwer and IDEAlliance Board of Directors. "It combines case study presentations with XML thought leaders' expertise to advance the evolution of XML technology and its effect on the corporate IT landscape."

The new XML authoring panel session will feature vendors and experts demonstrating traditional and alternative XML tools and environments. The panel on efficient use of XML will highlight the challenges of XML users and developers who need to move beyond what current technology allows; discussion topics will include hardware acceleration, binary XML and code optimization.
