XIOX Corporation Introduces Traffic Operations Management Software.

BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1998--XIOX Corporation (NASDAQ: XIOX), a leading provider of telemanagement software, announced a new software package that offers customers detailed analytical reports for Nortel Meridian 1 and SL-1 PBX's.

With the service, customers will be able to accurately staff attendant consoles, measure the hold times for customers calling in, determine the number of disconnects, as well as identify system performance and capacity for critical PBX resources (such as - loops, junctors, trunk groups and attendants).

The TES OM Reports are annotated with color graphs and explanations. Conditions which exceed Northern Telecom Technical Practices (NTP) recommendations are highlighted with an appropriate "Alert and Suggestion" annotation. Data is maintained historically in an ODBC compliant database. No site configuration or data entry is required for analysis and reporting.

The package will also be offered through Xiox as a service bureau solution for customers that wish to have the reports delivered to them on a scheduled basis.
