 XEROX NAMES RICCI PRESIDENT OF NEW BUSINESS DIVISION
 STAMFORD, Conn., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul A. Ricci has been


named president of Xerox Corporation's (NYSE: XRX) Advanced Office Document Services division, one of the nine business divisions established as part of recently announced changes in the company's document processing structure.
 The mission of Advanced Office Document Services, which will have its headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., is to develop sophisticated document services that increase office productivity by enabling documents to move easily between paper and electronic mediums. The division's first product, PaperWorks, which allows people to interact with personal computers from a remote facsimile machine, was announced March 23.
 Ricci, 35, previously worked for Xerox from 1979 to 1987. He rejoins the company from Natural Language Incorporated, Berkeley, Calif., where he was vice president, marketing and client services, since 1989. After leaving Xerox and before joining Natural Language, he was senior vice president, marketing and sales, at Micropro International Corporation, San Rafael, Calif.
 The new Xerox executive started with the company in research at the Palo Alto Research Center. He later worked in business planning and product management positions in the company's office systems business.
 Ricci holds bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from Stanford University. He was born in Modesto, Calif., and lives in Palo Alto.
