X-rite to hold seminars on color management.

Building on its Fundamentals of Color and Appearance (FOCA) course, X-Rite Inc. will provide hands-on training courses in sample measurement, data collection, and reporting for quality control. This new Fundamentals of Instrumentation and Quality Control (FIQC) one-day seminar is intended for customers who have a working knowledge of color theory and want to learn more about how to prepare samples, interpret data, set tolerances, and store and retrieve data. Both the FOCA and FIQC seminars help quality control and assurance professionals, lab technicians, parts suppliers, pre-media and digital pressroom personnel, and manufacturing specifiers in evaluating and approving colors in their workflows.

Beginning in early spring 2012, FIQC seminars will be held in several cities, including Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; Cincinnati, OH; Clemson, SC: Rochester, NY; Baltimore, MD; Los Angeles, CA; St. Louis, MO; Toronto, Canada; Milwaukee, Wl; and Portland, OR.
