IDC, a leading technology analyst firm. The report Enterprise Thin Client Q-View: Q4 2002(1) states that Wyse's U.S. market share has grown to an impressive 54.8 percent of all thin clients sold, more than triple the market share of Wyse's nearest competitor. The company also maintained its position as the worldwide leader with a 41.7 percent market share, with its nearest competitor trailing behind with only 14.7 percent of the global thin-client market. Wyse built and maintains its lead because of a strategic focus to serve as the market's only end-to-end server-centric computing resource. IDC's report showed the U.S. thin-client market grew by 21.7 percent compared to the previous year with similar robust growth expected for 2003 as thin-client awareness continues to grow and their perceived value relative to PCs generates demand.

"IDC's results show that overall awareness and enthusiasm for thin clients continues to grow," said Bob O'Donnell, research director of device technology at analyst firm IDC. "Compared to the IT hardware market, the thin-client growth rates Growth Rates

"This IDC report proves the tremendous value that server-centric computing brings organizations as they strive to make every budget dollar deliver tangible business results," said George Skaff, vice president of worldwide marketing for Wyse. "Our customers report very rapid return from their thin-client investment, usually in the same quarter. They radically lower IT management costs, and their employees are more productive because our solutions allow them to concentrate on their jobs. In this economy, few customers can afford not to make the move to server-centric computing."
