. The initiative, which stemmed from a 2003 winning travel tip submitted to Wyndham's WOMEN ON THEIR WAY(R) annual contest, allows guests to maintain a healthy lifestyle while on the road without packing their bulky gym shoes.

The fitness instructor uses Herman Miller Aeron(R) desk chairs and other items located in a Wyndham guest room to create the "No Shoes? No Problem!" workout, which provides a 31-minute, non-aerobic exercise routine that improves muscle tone and increases overall muscle mass, allowing the body to burn calories more efficiently.(1) The workout begins with traditional warm-up movements to raise the heart rate. Following the warm-up, guests are guided through a variety of low-impact exercises, such as standing leg lifts, arm toning exercises and calf raises.

"To bring this to fruition, Wyndham followed our brand philosophy of listening and responding to our guests' needs -- we worked with both the Golden Door's expert fitness team and Wyndham's Women Business Travelers Advisory Board to make sure the exercises will benefit novices, amateurs and everyone in between," said Andrew Jordan, executive vice president of sales and marketing and chief marketing officer for Wyndham International. "The combination of the DVD and the Golden Door Spa Cuisine menu really gives travelers everything they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle while traveling."

Guests can purchase the DVD at www.womenontheirway.com and www.goldendoorboutique.com for $18 and Wyndham ByRequest(R) members can view the video free Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2004, when they log on to www.wyndham.com as a Wyndham ByRequest member. All profits from the sale of the "No Shoes? No Problem!" program will benefit the WOMEN ON THEIR WAY Foundation, which funds issues and organizations important to women and their families.

"Following the WOMEN ON THEIR WAY contest, we solicited further feedback and found both men and women would appreciate the options the DVD provides," said Cary Broussard, vice president of marketing for Wyndham's WOMEN ON THEIR WAY program. "Wyndham takes guest feedback seriously and, through this initiative, again showed how dedicated it is to delivering on its brand philosophy of listening and responding by working with our world renowned spa to design a workout tailored to guest specifications."

Wyndham guests can experience additional elements of the Golden Door spa throughout their stay. In 2001, Wyndham introduced the Golden Door Bath Care Collection, spa-inspired bath amenities that lavish guests' senses with scents of cala lily, jasmine, freesia freesia: see iris.
