 designed by world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright Frank Lloyd Wright, Jr. (March 30,1890, Oak Park, Illinois – May 31, 1978, Santa Monica, California), commonly known as Lloyd Wright, was an American architect who did most of his work in Southern California. , will be open to the public for the first time this week.

The Gordon House was moved in sections from its original Wilsonville location to its new home at The Oregon Garden Oregon Garden is an 80 acre (320,000 m²) botanical garden and tourist attraction located at 879 West Main Street, Silverton, Oregon, in the United States. The garden is open every day except major holidays, and hosts many community events and concerts.  a year ago.

The two-day dedication for the historic home begins Friday with several events and activities, including self-guided interior tours, panel presentations by Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy is an organization devoted to the historic preservation of buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, as well as to the study of Wright's seven-decade career.  experts, educational programs and displays.

An informative brunch will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday The cost is $15 for Oregon Garden members and $25 for nonmembers.

Speakers will talk about saving, moving and reconstructing the structure.

The house is the only building open to the public in the Pacific Northwest designed by Wright.

The Oregon Garden is located at 879 W. Main St. (Cascade Highway Cascade Highway may refer to:
