World-Famous Impressionist Makes Venetian Showroom and Las Vegas Home; Las Vegas' Most Spectacular Star-Studded Event to Be Performed by One Man.

The most spectacular star-studded event ever held in Las Vegas will be performed by one man and his more than 300 voice impressions nightly at C2K, the new showroom inside The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino.

Showcasing the singing talents of such legendary greats as Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Nat King Cole, Diana Ross, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Willie Nelson, The Temptations and others, Andre-Philippe Gagnon premieres his signature stage show on Oct. 26.

After years of sold-out shows around the world touring with Celine Dion, Gagnon brings his sharp-witted and irreverently talented musical voices to the new entertainment venue at The Venetian.

According to Peter Aaronson, vice president of entertainment for C2K: "Andre has played to standing ovations throughout the world, and now Las Vegas audiences can experience this must-see show.

Gagnon's rise to being one of the world's most recognizable impersonators got a jump-start at the 1985 international Just for Laughs Festival, with a subsequent appearance on "The Tonight Show" making him one of Canada's top comedians.

A native of Loretteville, Quebec, Gagnon is most famous for his virtuoso performance of all 18 voices in the legendary famine-relief song "We Are the World," which has become his classic since he first sang it on TV for the song's co-writer and composer, Lionel Ritchie.

From Gagnon's established roots in the field of comedy to his wildly successful touring shows, he has trademarked his one-of-a-kind performance style to millions of fans around the world.

C2K is a four-level entertainment complex, the first of its kind to incorporate a high-definition television production facility within a Las Vegas showroom. The three-level theater seats 1,200 and features six VIP skyboxes on the third level, complete with lounge, deluxe amenities and private showroom seating.

In addition to Gagnon's nightly production show, the showroom will feature headliner acts throughout the year. After the evening performance, the theater immediately transforms into an after-hours nightclub featuring state-of-the-art sound, light and video projection.

While the external theater facade conforms to the Venetian theme, the interior of C2K highlights a modern Carnevale look for a more exciting showroom and nightclub experience.

The sound and lighting systems easily adapt from theater to nightclub. Much of the theatrical lighting is mounted on fully motorized (hinging) trusses that quickly exchange the verticality of the theater for the intimacy of the nightclub, while the sound system provides both the frontal impact necessary for headline acts and the surround sound of a nightclub.

During the day, C2K's state-of-the-art production facility will be used for tapings of syndicated television shows and commercials.
