:WLGS) announced today that its wholly-owned Peruvian subsidiary, Digital Way, S.A. de C.V. has entered into a commercial agreement with Infoductos y Telecomunicaciones del Peru, S.A ("ITPSA") to provide high speed last mile connectivity to ITPSA's customers.

ITPSA is a subsidiary of Red Cientifica Peruana, S.A. the long-time leading Internet Service Provider Internet service provider (ISP)

for Lima and Callao, Peru. Until this agreement was executed, all of ITPSA and Red Cientifica's customers had been connected to the Internet through dial-up service offered by the local telephone companies.

"Our selection by ITPSA and Red Cientifica to provide high speed last mile connectivity for their premium customers is quick confirmation of the acceptance of Digital Way's wireless service as a credible alternative to other high speed operators in Lima," noted Douglas P. Haffer, President and Chief Executive Officer of WLGS. "By providing this type of service to the customers of ITPSA and Red Cientifica, Digital Way will be able to secure a significant revenue stream without a significant impact on the capacity of the rest of our system," he added.

The agreement with ITSPA ITSPA Information Technology Solutions Providers Alliance  is for a period of two years. The other terms, including the specific pricing provisions, were not released for competitive reasons.

"The ability to establish tactical and marketing agreements with apparent competitors, as well as to formulate marketing tie-in agreements with a wide variety of possible partners is a major part of our Peruvian business plan," commented Haffer. "Our success in these efforts, along with our rapidly growing retail customer base in Lima, has been most encouraging," he concluded.

In the initial two weeks of installations and operations in Lima, Digital Way has installed or is in the process of installing service to at least fifty-eight separate customers, totaling over one-hundred fifty connections. Among the early customers of Digital Way are Aerolineas Argentinas, Biometria Peru S.A., Saver Com S.A. and many others. Among the dozens businesses in the process of being inspected and installed are the Municipality of Lima, Odontology odontology /odon·tol·o·gy/ (o?don-tol´ah-je)
