World Piano Competition announces winners.


Tatiana Tessman, 27, of Russia, received the Robison Foundation/ B. Robison Sporck-Stegmaier Award and the John and Shirley Davies Award for the Gold Medal gold medal

She currently studies with Stanislav Ioudenitch at Park University in Parkville, Missouri Parkville is a city in Platte County, Missouri, United States. The population was 4,059 at the 2000 census. In addition, Tessman was awarded a $10,000 cash award and a debut performance valued at $35,000 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall The Alice Tully Hall is a concert hall that is part of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The 2006 Silver Award Medalists were Ryan MacEvoy McCullough, 19, of the United States and Xin Ti, 20, of China. Both currently live in Los Angeles, where they study with John Perry at the Colburn School of the Arts. The Silver Medalists each were awarded a $4,000 cash award.

The three finalists return to Cincinnati throughout the year for five performances.
