The World Intellectual Property Organization has appointed Gary J. Nelson a domain name mediator mediator n. a person who conducts mediation. A mediator is usually a lawyer, or retired judge, but can be a non-attorney specialist in the subject matter (like child custody) who tries to bring people and their disputes to early resolution through a conference. . Nelson is a partner with intellectual property law firm Christie Parker & Hale LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol in Pasadena. Nelson is one of only five arbitrators from the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. area.
