World Foundry Congress to be held in Gyeongju, Korea. (Metalcasting Associations).


The 65th World Foundry A semiconductor manufacturer that makes chips for third parties. It may be a large chip maker that sells its excess manufacturing capacity or one that makes chips exclusively for other companies.  Congress and the Foundry Exhibition 2002 will be held at the Hyundai Hotel, Gyeongju (Kyongju), Korea Korea (kôrē`ə, kə–), Korean Hanguk or Choson, region and historic country (85,049 sq mi/220,277 sq km), E Asia. , October October: see month.  20-24.

The theme of this year's Congress is "Innovations in Foundries for the 21st Century." The Congress is separated into a Technical Forum and a Scientific Program. The Technical Forum will address technology's influence on the future market trends for castings through six presentations from a collection of international authors. The Scientific Program will include presentations on all casting alloys This is a list of alloys for which an article exists in Wikipedia (or is proposed but not yet written).

They are grouped by base metal, in order of increasing atomic number. Within these headings they are in no particular order.

The Foundry Exhibition 2002 will showcase A showcase, or vitrine, is a glassed-in cabinet or case for displaying delicate or valuable articles such as objects d'art or merchandise in a shop, museum, or house.  the latest in metalcasting equipment, technology, consumables and services for show attendees.
