No, they're not obelisks from outer space. For students in Diamond Bar, California Diamond Bar is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 56,287 at the 2000 census. It is named after the "diamond over a bar" branding iron registered in 1918 by ranch owner Frederick E. Lewis. , this space-age Stonehenge is school. The newly opened Diamond Ranch ranch, large farm devoted chiefly to raising and breeding cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. The cattle ranch was introduced from Latin America to Texas and the plains of the W United States and Canada.  High sits on a hilltop 40 miles east of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , making Disney's Tomorrowland look positively dated. The design gives new meaning to the idea of preparing students for the future.
