These articles were even more meaningful for me as I had just returned from several weeks working with Aids orphans at Watoto in Kampala City, Uganda. The orphanage ORPHANAGE, Eng. law. By the custom of London, when a freeman of that city dies, his estate is divided into three parts, as follows: one third part to the widow; another, to the children advanced by him in his lifetime, which is called the orphanage; and the other third part may be by him  is run by the Kampala Pentecostal Church. We, ie my three adult children, my husband and I, made this a family trip and spent the time running a holiday programme and building in the villages that house 1000 children.

While my nursing input was restricted to running a first aid course, it was a very satisfying time and within the capability of any Kiwi kiwi (kē`wē) or apteryx (ăp`tərĭks), common name for the smallest member of an order of primitive flightless birds related to the ostrich, the emu, and the cassowary.  nurse (and family) who wants to benefit others while gaining a special experience.
