PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2000

WorkSpot, Inc., a leading provider of wireless application development and server-side wireless software, has been selected by OmniSky Corp., the provider of comprehensive branded wireless Internet services for handheld devices, to provide technical resources and expertise in the development of OmniSky's new wireless Internet service. OmniSky's wireless Internet service provides consumers with virtually the entire Web under one unified user interface, access to existing email accounts, an elegant modem solution for Palm V users, and cost-effective flat-rate pricing.

"WorkSpot is excited to be working with OmniSky on ground-breaking wireless services that reach the consumer with relevance and simplicity," said Kathy Giori, WorkSpot chief executive officer. "We're proud to contribute our technical expertise, resources and talent to a service that opens the door wide to the wireless Internet."

WorkSpot was chosen to work with OmniSky on the development of the service based on its Palm platform expertise and success in optimizing premier commerce-oriented Internet sites for the Palm, including eBay and Barnes & Noble. By employing WorkSpot's proven track record in designing Web Clipping Applications for the Palm platform OmniSky was able to quickly implement and launch its initial service, now available for the Palm V and Palm Vx.
