Work starts on school.The Gale Construction Company, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, announced that construction is underway on the new Somerset 1 City (1990 pop. 10,733), seat of Pulaski co., S Ky., in a farm, coal, and limestone area of the Cumberland foothills; inc. 1810. It has railroad shops and yards and diversified manufactures. 2 Residential town (1990 pop. 17,655), Bristol co., SE Mass., on the Taunton River; settled 1677, set off from Swansea and inc. 1790. It has varied manufacturing. Hills Learning Institute in Pluckemin, New Jersey. The new facility being developed for Somerset Hills Learning Institute, a school for autistic children, will encompass 19,744 square feet when completed. The distinctive U-shaped structure is designed to be barn-like in appearance to complement its rural surroundings. The school will house seven classrooms, two gross motor skill areas, two kitchen/dining areas, a large conference room, video editing room, infirmary, outdoor recreational area, adult education room and staff offices. Hone & Associates is the architect for this project. "We are particularly pleased to be chosen as the construction manager for the Somerset Hills Learning Institute," stated Thomas J.
