Work starts on school.

The Gale Construction Company, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, announced that construction is underway on the new Somerset Hills Learning Institute in Pluckemin, New Jersey.

The new facility being developed for Somerset Hills Learning Institute, a school for autistic children, will encompass 19,744 square feet when completed. The distinctive U-shaped structure is designed to be barn-like in appearance to complement its rural surroundings. The school will house seven classrooms, two gross motor skill areas, two kitchen/dining areas, a large conference room, video editing room, infirmary, outdoor recreational area, adult education room and staff offices. Hone & Associates is the architect for this project.
