Propelled by improvements in the building and the neighborhood, 250 West 57th West 57th can refer to:
  • West 57th Street, a street in New York City
  • West 57th (news magazine), a news magazine program which aired on the CBS Television Network from 1985 to 1989
 Street leased over 50,000 s/f in the first quarter of the year.

Of this, approximately 32,000 s/f was new leases and the balance of 18,000 s/f was renewals, reports Barry Zeller, senior director, Cushman & Wakefield, the building's managing and leasing agent.

New tenants that signed leases in the first quarter include Environ Press, Inc., Music Law Group, Dabar Management Co., Hartz & Co., and NIP (Novell Internet Printing) See NetWare 6. . Renewals, meanwhile, were signed by Will Jordan Will Jordan (born July 27, 1927) is an American character actor who is best known for his resemblance to long-time TV host Ed Sullivan, and his ability to mimic Sullivan's unique presentation style. , Baron & Baron, Jack Poust & Co., September Music Group and Baker Products.

"These statistics show that we're achieving our objective of attracting new tenants with good credit while retaining existing ones," says Mr. Zeller.

"The word is getting out that this is a good place for business. Our tenants are enjoying the results of our extensive renovations, the high standards of maintenance, and the central location."

"It's a happening building," notes Chuck Rubin, president and founder of the Artists Rights Enforcement Corporation, a firm that recently relocated from the fifth floor to the seventh floor.

A $30 million capital improvement program was recently concluded at the building. Renovations included new windows, elevator cabs, upgraded building systems, refurbished public corridors, and a new lobby and subway entrance. Developments in the Columbus Circle Columbus Circle, named for Christopher Columbus, is a major landmark and point of attraction in the New York City borough of Manhattan.
