Woodward vs. Cuomo.

I was disappointed in the articles by Kenneth Woodward and Mario Cuomo Mario Matthew Cuomo (born June 15, 1932) served as the Governor of New York from 1983 to 1995. Cuomo became nationally known for his rousing keynote speech at the 1984 Democratic National Convention and the subsequent speculation over the next two decades that he might run for the  ("Catholics, Politics & Abortion," September September: see month.  24). A much-needed opportunity for dialogue was lost. Woodward did not advance a prolife stance; he simply attacked Cuomo's record. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . Cuomo Cuomo may be:
  • Mario Cuomo, a former Governor of New York State
  • Andrew Cuomo, current Attorney General of New York State, and son of Mario.
  • Chris Cuomo, a journalist, and son of Mario.
, meanwhile, was defensive. He did not address what, in my mind, was the most serious question raised by Woodward--namely, is there room for a prolife Democrat in the Democratic Party? I hope the editors invite them back for another round of conversation on these questions.
