The new Woodhead Bench Light provides a reliable source of direct overhead illumination for a variety of industrial task lighting applications, such as production lines, assembly tables, welding cells, and tool room workbenches. They can also provide a lower-cost alternative to overhead lights typically provided in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  workstations.

The ruggedly built Woodhead Bench Light (120V, 60Hz) is 57-inches in length and has a narrow (2"x3") width profile. Additional features include:
