Women In Defense opens chesapeake bay chapter. (NDIA News).


Members of the newest chapter of Women In Defense, an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association, recently held a luncheon in Lexington Park, Md.

Established in late 2002, the chapter serves more than 60 WID members in southern Maryland, concentrated near the Naval Air Station A Naval Air Station is an airbase of the United States Navy. Such bases are used to house Naval Aviation squadrons and support commands. List of Functioning US Naval Air Stations
  • Atlanta, Georgia
  • Brunswick, Maine
  • Corpus Christi, Texas
 at Patuxent River.

Cindy Broyles, of Booz Allen Hamilton Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., referred to as Booz Allen is one of the oldest strategy consulting firms in the world.[1] The firm formerly had two consulting divisions: WCB (Worldwide Commercial Business, also known as “The Commercial Side”) and WTB , is the chapter's president. Broyles was named Booz Allen Hamilton Woman of the Year, in part for her role in helping to establish the chapter. Other chapter officers include Rosemarie Benjes, of NAVAIR NAVAIR Naval Air Systems Command  Patuxent River, and Renee Lacey, of SAIC SAIC - http://saic.com. .
