Women's Interart Center.Women grow on Clinton. After the city turns over a West Side building to the Women's Interart Center, the non-profit group plans an $18 million renovation. That will include fixing the existing ten-story 49,190 square-foot 549-551 West 52nd Street, and constructing a new eight-story addition of 27,788 square feet that will contain studio and rehearsal spaces. The building is expected to become the home of four non-profit cultural tenants and provide high quality dance and theater rehearsal studios for the arts and entertainment community.
