Women's apparel store moves to 532 Broadway. (Retail Scene).

Arden B., a contemporary women's apparel and accessories retailer, is opening its second Manhattan store at 532 Broadway, located between Spring and Prince Streets.

The national retailer, which is a division of California-based retail chain The Wet Seal, has signed a 10-year lease for 2,000 SF of ground floor space. Located in an early 19th century SoHo building, the new store is expected to open in Spring 2003.

"With a new Bloomingdale's soon to open just one block away and retail neighbors that include Levi's, Scoop and Skechers, this area of SoHo was a natural place for Arden B.'s next New York location," said Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF) senior managing director Karen Bellantoni, who, along with RKF's CEO Robert Futterman, handled negotiations on behalf of the retailer. "The space offers cotenancy, heavy pedestrian traffic and proximity to several subway lines, as well as Banana Republic, Club Monaco, Steve Madden, Victoria's Secret and Dean & DeLuca stores all nearby. This is definitely one of the strongest retail corridors in SoHo." The landlord, Schack & Schack Real Estate Co., LLC, was represented in-house by Ken Schack.

RKF also recently represented Arden B. in negotiations for its flagship Manhattan store at 1130 Third Avenue, on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
