Browse Womans Day by dateWomans Day was first published in 1931 as a free in-store menu and recipe planner for A&P supermarkets. The idea was to inspire customers to buy more food products by giving them meal ideas in an easy-to-read format available in-store. Over the years, Womans Day has expanded its editorial coverage beyond recipes to include fashion, health, home decorating, crafts, beauty, fitness and more. Our unique editorial coverage provides inspiration and information to cover every aspect of a womans life. In 1988, Womans Day was purchased by Hachette Filipacchi Magazines. Since then, Womans Day has continued to provide more service editorial coverage than the rest of the womens service field, publishing 17 issues full of inspiration each year.
