Last month it bought Strafford Publications' accounting line, which became part of the company's New York-based Aspen Publishers (NL/NL 12/3/01). Now Wolters Kluwer has acquired Cutter Environment, a division of Cutter Information Corp., Arlington, Mass. The division, which publishes newsletters and special reports, will be integrated into Aspen Publishers. Terms of the agreement were not released. Cutter Environment publications include Energy Design Update, Oil Spill Intelligence Report, Global Environmental Change Report, Business and the Environment, as well as special reports and topical annual reports on related topics. With the acquisition, Aspen said it "will further leverage its positions in key vertical markets."
