Wizzard Software, MedivoxRx Technologies Announces Plans to Further Enhance Rex-The Talking Bottle and Rex Pharmacy System, Other Recent Events.

PITTSBURGH -- Wizzard Software (OTCBB:WIZD) and its subsidiary, MedivoxRx Technologies, today commented on enhancements for Rex-The Talking Prescription Bottle that can be implemented as required and accepted by the marketplace. Rex-The Talking Prescription Bottle (Rex) provides audible information regarding medication for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, elderly, cognitively impaired or who for any reason have difficulty reading or understanding medication label information and instructions. The benefit is increased patient compliance, improved patient safety and safeguarding of lives at risk due to medication errors.

The audible instructions are activated by simply pressing and holding a button on the totally self contained bottle. The pharmacist prepares and records the instructions when filling the prescription. With the use of a Starter or "Home" Kit available at retail, the patient or a caregiver can also record bottles at home for over the counter medications, multi-vitamins, etc.

Various enhancements are being considered for future versions of Rex. While technological capabilities are available today, future versions must be dictated by market demand, practicality and cost. Under consideration is increased volume for patients with hearing impairments; an audible alarm to serve as a reminder; and a "time to refill" reminder. Rex could also be melded to a subscription service that could place a phone call to the patient with various reminders. The electronics currently available could also allow for compliance monitoring and reporting back to the prescribing physician. Potential technological enhancements may be made available as the demand is realized.

MedivoxRx has made significant progress during 2006 with the acceptance and distribution of Rex. MAVC Health and Wellness, Inc. has become a Canadian distributor and TSSI has joined the ranks as a distributor in the San Diego, California area. Rex is also currently available in one national retail pharmacy chain at select locations. Rex is being made available through this chain on a select basis in order to assess the market size and need as well as to determine marketing and distribution methods. Negotiations are also under way with a national retailing chain. Early interest has been expressed by some other national pharmacy chains as well. MedivoxRx will be attending and exhibiting at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Pharmacy and Technology Conference in San Diego California on August 25th through August 30th. Gene Franz and Aimee Ward of MedivoxRx will be demonstrating Rex and at the request of a number of retailers, they will be conducting a number of private, one on one meetings with a number of retailers who have expressed interest.

MedivoxRx also recently announced that Kaiser Permanente, America's leading integrated health care organization, is offering Rex as part of the health benefit program to an estimated 33,000 Kaiser Permanente members who have some impairment and need of Rex. Kaiser Permanente has over 8.5 million members in total. "Offering Rex as a no cost benefit is a strong indicator of the progressive thinking exhibited by Kaiser Permanente," said Gene Franz, General Manager, Solutions and Channels for MedivoxRx. The program has been initially implemented in 140 Northern California Kaiser Permanente pharmacies and health care facilities and is migrating to the other Kaiser Permanente pharmacies. Rex is available to the public through a number of channels. Pharmacies, including the Kaiser Permanente pharmacies, are currently filling prescriptions using Rex. Using the microphone recording units, prescription label information or other information deemed pertinent by the pharmacist is recorded to the Rex bottle. Such information includes various warnings on drug interaction, etc. To playback the recorded information, users simply press and hold a button on the side of the bottle and listen to the message.

Also available from MedivoxRx is the Rex Pharmacy Software. Full automation through text-to-speech technology allows pharmacists to automatically record the medication information to the Rex bottle in a natural-sounding computer generated voice using the pharmacy's current software and data. When the pharmacist releases the medication label text to the standard label printer, the MedivoxRx software captures that text, converts it to speech and records it into the bottle. The pharmacist may further edit or modify that text by using the computer or interjecting additional speech.

Rex Starter or "Home" Kits and Refill Kits for personal use are also available in a number of pharmacies throughout the U.S. and for purchase on the MedivoxRx website at www.rxtalks.com. Attractively packaged for retail shelves, the Starter Kits includes 3 bottles, a recording unit, a microphone that makes the recording possible by simply pressing a button and speaking, a power supply, and easy-to-follow instructions.
